Airbnb “Passion Fruit”

Back in 2018 Push Media was commissioned by Airbnb to capture the renovations of a few centennial houses in a small village in the Guangxi Province (China) as part of collaboration project in between Airbnb and the local government in order to revitalize tourism.

I’ve spent a couple of weeks traveling back and forth to document the daily lives of its people. This tiny village of a few dozen is primarily inhabited by people from the Zhuang Minority.

The photos ended up being used for online and social media usage on Chinese platforms such as Weibo and Wechat.
